Carl F. Yeager Jr., 93, of Fripp Island and the husband of Barbara Bruckenthal, died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016, at his residence.
A World War II veteran, who served in the Pacific, he was also a retired FBI agent. Carl Yeager received his B.S. at Villanova, his M.A. in American History at Georgetown, and his Ph.D. in Political Science at Columbia. He was proud to be a Boys Scout leader for 15 years. Carl was an avid NFL Giants fan. Go Giants!
He is survived by his wife, four sons, and three granddaughters.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, with interment following in Beaufort National Cemetery.
