HELEN LORINE ROSE, age 89, passed away at her home on Friday, November 25, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. Helen was born in Cheatham County, Tennessee, on January 22, 1927, to the late Louis and Viola Cochran Perry. She was a factory worker in her early years but was best known as the Avon Lady of Ashland City for 20 years. She enjoyed making quilts and pillows and many will remember her working outside with her beautiful flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 67 years, Brad Rose; son, Jerry Wayne Rose; siblings, Ebb Perry, Billy Perry, Jim Brown, Press Perry, Elizabeth Felts, Betty Gregory, Frankie Binkley, Ruby Simmons and Peggy Brown. Helen leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Paul Robert Rose; daughter, Patsy (Mitchell) Newell; daughter-in-law, Donna Young; 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Sunday, November 27, 2016, at 2pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Justin Newell and Brother David Prophater officiating. Burial will be laid to rest beside her husband in Bearwallow Community Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 26, 2016, from 2pm to 7pm and on Sunday, November 27th from 12noon until 2pm.
