Dennis A. “Denny” Harrison, Jr. of Decatur, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2016 at his residence.
Denny was born on January 10, 1967 in Springfield the son of Dennis (Lois) Harrison and Karen Pettus.
Denny was a graduate of Mid-West Wielding. He owned and operated the Walleye Wagon and Old Fashioned Kettle Corn Company and would travel around the state working at different fairs. He liked to treasure hunt, ride his motorcycle, fish and he had a special love for his dogs, Hercules and Happy.
He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.
He is survived by two daughters, Kristin (Shawn) Lascelles of Petersburg and Sydney Harrison of Lincoln; parents, Dennis and Lois Harrison of Sherman; brother, John (Lori) Harrison of Sherman; one grandson, Gunner Lascelles; and many loving relatives
Visitation will be from 5-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home. There will be an additional visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at the funeral home with Reverend Larry Hanson officiating. Cremation will follow services with burial at a later date.
