SHERIDAN--Betty E. Arnold Sheridan, 73, formerly of Rome , died Wednesday , March 31, 1999 in Hastings, N.Y.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12 noon at the Fiore Funeral Home, Inc. 303 Main Street, Onieda with the Rev. Skip Hellmig officiating. Her cremains will be buried in Stockbridge Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 10-12 p.m. prior to the service.

Betty E. Arnold Sheridan, 73, a former resident of Rome, died Wednesday , March 31, 1999, at the home of her daughter , Mrs. Roberta Mead at 1685 Route 11, Box 29, Hastings N.Y. 13076. She had been residing with her daughter for the past four years.
She was born on August 10, 1925 in Oneida , and resided in Oneida for 19 years before moving to Rome. She was the daughter of Jay and Frances Switzer Arnold .
Survivors are, her mother of Oneida; seven daughters , Roberta Mead, Hastings , Jane Deep, Arizona, Mrs. Larry (Colleen) Johnson, Sylvan Beach, Bethlee Sheridan, California, Patricia Sheridan, Oneida, Nancy Anson,Pennellville, and Mrs. Darrin ( Joan) Dailey, Chittenango; three sons and two daughters-in-laws, Douglas and Mary Sheridan, Peanellville, Brian and Jackie Sheridan, Oneida , and Charles Sheridan, Florida; seven brothers, Vern Arnold, Robert Arnold, Raymond Arnold, all of Oneida , Ivan Arnold, Richard Arnold, both of Rome, Charles Arnold, of South Plymouth, David Arnold , Clarksville; four sisters, Doris Tharp, Florida, Lula Collins, Munnsville, Jean Burton,Oneida, Mrs. Guy (May) Sykes, North Carolina; thirty grandchildren , six great grandchildren , and several nieces and nephews . She was predeceased by one son Bruce Sheridan in 1961.
