Katherine Elliott, 84, of Louisville, Ky returned to her heavenly father on Monday November 21, 2016. She grew up in Adairville, Ky where she attended Mount Herman Missionary Baptist Church. After moving to Louisville she joined Hill Street Missionary Baptist Church. Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, Central and Elisha McClain; spouse, Robert M. Elliott; son, Robert Dennis (Brandnew) Elliott; granddaughter, Cassandra M. Elliott. She leaves to cherish her memories her children, daughter, Penny J. Allen; sons, Kenneth M. (Kenny) Elliott & Joseph M. (Mary) Elliott; step-children Rochelle Bussey & Nick Mulligan. She had nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces/nephews, family and friends.
The Elliott family would like to send a special thank you to Signature Health Care of South Louisville at 1120 Cristland Road for the excellent care our mother received while being a patient at their facility. We felt truly blessed to have such a group of extra-ordinary angels caring for her. For this we were truly thankful and appreciative. May GOD bless you & Keep you.
Visitation Sunday November 27, 2016 at G.C. Williams Funeral Home 1935 West Broadway from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Monday November 28, 2016 11 a.m. at her church Hill Street Missionary Baptist Church, 2203 Dixie Highway with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
