David B. Rodrigues, 104, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at the Copley at Stoughton on Saturday, February 20, 2016. He was the husband of the late Ines (Amaral) Rodrigues. Born and raised in San Miguel, Azores, Portugal, he resided in Stoughton since 1967. David worked at Stoughton Diner for many years before retiring many years ago. He enjoyed traveling to Portugal and spending time with his family.

Mr. Rodrigues was the father of Maria Zelia Araujo, Joseph A. Bento, Vasco Bento, Maria Raposo, Aura Bento and Manuel Thomas Bento all of Stoughton, Antero Bento of Portugal and the late David Bento and his late wife Fatima. He was the brother of Aura Santos of Portugal and Antero Rodrigues of Taunton. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Thomas Raposo.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, February 24 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday from 4-7 PM. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
