There has never been a kinder, more loving woman. All those who met her were touched by her grace and warmth. Leona was the beloved wife of the late Korneliusz Serbey (2008). Cherished mother of Veronique (Jack Binek), Evelyne and George. Adored Nana of Caroline (Alan Hamilton), Tracey (Stephen McManmon), Christopher and Erik Perrie. Great-Nana of Charlotte, Nick, Chelsea, Cian and Katherine. Leona was born in Ghent, Belgium. She met and married a handsome Polish Officer and moved to Canada in 1951. They settled with their three children in Duvernay, Laval. In retirement, Leona and Cornel moved to the "country" in Vankleek Hill, Ontario. She later moved back to Quebec to be close to family.
