Jack McCarty, long time Rancher of the Nara Visa NM area passed away on Tuesday Morning, November 22, 2016, at La Mesa, Texas. Jack was born in Dalhart Texas on February 19, 1935. He was active in the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include sons, Rick McCarty and Jack McCarty Jr. Along with numerous grandchildren.
He served his country in the US military. Services were Friday morning, November 25, 2016, in the Nara Visa Community Center beginning at 10:30 AM Central Time (9:30 AM mountain time) with burial to follow in the family plot of the Nara Visa Cemetery. Pall bearers were David Whatley, Joe Jack Culbertson, Bryan Rinestine, Russell Heimann, Jack Usery. Honorary pall bearers were his grandchildren.
And special thanks to all our friends and neighbors, without whom our lives would not have been complete. A meal was be served with music and poetry following the services at the Nara Visa Community Center.
Arrangements entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari, New Mexico.
