Timothy Rex Elliott, Age 68, of West Milton, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016. He was born May 14, 1948 to the late Dennis R. & Margaret (Peterseim) Elliott in Dayton, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Barbara Brinkman, sister JoAnne (Jerry) Tucker, and nephew Mike Tucker. He will be missed and remembered by his son Justin (Heidi) Elliott; stepdaughter Heather (David) Sherman; stepchildren Carol (Jeff) Wiles, Eric Brinkman, Julie Brinkman, and Scott (Kelly) Brinkman; grandchildren Zachary, Josh, Ashley, Xavier, Kelsey, Elijah, Noelle, and Lily; nephew Marty (Debbie) Tucker and great nieces Taylor and Taryn. Tim was a Band Director and Music Teacher for Englewood Civic Band and taught music at The BRD house in Englewood. He loved searching and learning about the heritage of the Elliott Family and loved music, golfing and watching rugby. The family will receive friends from 10 AM- 12PM on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton with a funeral service following at 12 PM. Burial will follow in Harris Creek Cemetery, Bradford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Englewood Civic Band, 4515 S. St. Rt. 202, Tipp City, OH 45371.
