Earl Glenn Duncan, age 81 of the "Y" Community died Thurs. 11/24/2016 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville, IN. He was born on October 25, 1935 to the late George Edward and Jennamae Greenwell Duncan as one of 9 children. During his lifetime of 81 years, he lived life to the fullest.
The year of 1956, he decided to marry the love of his life, Emma Jean Waller. They joined their lives in St. Ambrose Church outside of Henshaw, KY on September 27, 1956. As he proceeded down the road of life, he worked at the family sawmill for a few years and then got a job in the coal mines. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends and spending time at the Senior Citizens Center. He retired from the coal mines in 1994 and decided to take it easy.
He enjoyed watching NASCAR racing, working on automobiles, playing rummy, and pitching washers as a great way to pass time. Earl and his wife Emma gave life to four children during their lifetime together. This love they shared in turn was passed to their children which in turn, gave them five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Earl and Emma celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on September 27, 2016.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George E. and Jennamae Greenwell Duncan; 5 brothers, Morris, George Jr., Joseph, Leroy and Harold Eugene Duncan; sister, Mary Francis Fletcher; grandson, William David Timmons III.

3 Daughters: Judy Vos and husband Jerry of Morganfield, KY Vivian Timmons and husband William David of Morganfield, KY Twiletta Duncan of Henderson, KY
1 Son: Carl Duncan and wife Emily of O'Fallon, MO
2 Sisters: Martha Russelburg of Morganfield, KY Mabel Reburn of Morganfield, KY
Funeral service will be 1PM Sun. 11/27/2016 at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield, KY. Fr. Freddie Byrd will officiate. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery in Morganfield. Visitation will be 5-8PM Sat. and 10AM until service time on Sun. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Duncan Cemetery Fund.
