Mrs. Regina M. Fowler, 94, formerly of Belleville passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Westland Nursing Home. She was born on July 4, 1922 in Pozen, Poland a daughter of Walter and Sophia (Koronka) Basinski.
Regina was quite a feisty woman. She loved to go out on the town and dance the night away. She was quite a wine connoisseur. She looked forward to summer vacations with her sisters up north every year. Regina was a member of St. Stephens Parish in New Boston for many years. Her greatest joy was her family. She loved to cook and bake for them, especially for holiday gatherings.
Mrs. Fowler is the beloved mother of Ralph Giacco, Ernestine Yard, Gail (Terry) Chapman and Ronnie (Michelle) Fowler. Loving grandmother of 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husbands Ralph Giacco and Wilson A. Fowler.
