Son of Mrs. Martha Carver who resided in Ansonia, Connecticut.

Warren served as a Private First Class, Company M, Third Battalion, Fourth Marines, U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.

He resided in New Haven County, Connecticut prior to the war.

Warren was "Killed In Action" on Corregidor, Philippine Islands during the war.

Warren has a "Memorial Marker" on Main Street, just north of Water Street, located in the entrance way of Ansonia City Hall, Ansonia, Connecticut which reads:

In Memory of
Warren J. Carver
4th Regt. U.S. Marine Corps
Killed in action Jan. 25, 1942
at Mariveles Bataan
Philippine Islands
The first Ansonia boy
to die for his Country
in the War with Japan

It is currently unknown where he is actually interred.
