Charles Ronald Coulter, 84, of Flatwoods Road, Ravenswood, W.Va., was called to glory on November 23, 2016, at his home.

He was born June 21, 1932, in Steubenville, Ohio, a son of the late Charles Fredrick and Virginia Emma (McGrew) Coulter. In addition to his parents, his wife, Dolores Sylvia (Byrnside) Coulter also preceded him in death.

He was a retired pipe fitter and millwright with 31 years service at Century Aluminum, Ravenswood and a member of United Steel Workers Local #5668. He was also a member of Moore Lodge in Nitro. He attended the Independent Fellowship Church, Ravenswood.

He is survived by his three sons, James R. Coulter (and his wife, Debra), of Ravenswood, Robert E. Coulter (and his wife, Sharon), of Middleburg, Fla. and Michael L. Coulter (and his wife, Mary), of Ravenswood; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Service will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday, November 27, 2016, at Casto Funeral Home Chapel, Ravenswood, W.Va., with Pastor Allen Stewart and Pastor Robert Coulter officiating. Burial will follow at the Ravenswood Cemetery, Ravenswood.
