Marshall participated in several community projects over the years for the city of Indianapolis, especially Breakfast with Santa. He was known for his caring and genuine spirit to all who knew him.
Marshall is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Cheryl Ann (née Terry) Lewis; children, Tonna Thomas (Leon) and Brandon Lewis; grandchildren; siblings, Dale Lewis, Rachel Mitchum, Sharon White, SueAnn Clark, and Mary Walker.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Michael Lewis, Jerry Lewis, and Jimmy/JP Lewis
