Muskegon Margaret Puffer, age 90 of Twin Lake, passed away peacefully October 13, 2016, at Sanctuary at McCauley. Margaret was born and raised in Muskegon County. She was one of twelve siblings of the Gerencer family that worked on and owned the largest vegetable growing farm in the County. She was married to Raymond Puffer and together they raised two beautiful daughters, Nancy and Bonnie. Margaret's work ethic, independence, health and willingness to give were some of her most unique and greatest attributes. She was a woman of faith and a member of Saint Mary of The Woods in Lakewood. Margaret was incredibly loving, welcoming everyone with open arms and an 'I love you'. Family was central in her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond and siblings Frank, Kalman, Colman, Anton, George, Steve, Willie and Rose. She is survived by her daughters: Nancy Botten, Bonnie Woodring; Grandchildren, great and great-great-grandchildren; Brothers and sisters: Rudy Gerencer, Louie Gerencer, Kate Rewalt.

Memorial services will be Sunday, October 23, 2016, at 2:00pm at Ever Rest Funeral Home and Chapel in Muskegon. The family will receive visitors beginning at 1:30pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Sanctuary at McAuley or St. Mary of the Woods Chapel Catholic Church.
