An accomplished artist who shared her talents generously with her community with students at several Boston area Notre Dame schools, including St. Gregory's in Dorchester. Born in Dorchester, daughter of the late John Joseph & Mary Ellen (Edwards) Ferren. Sister of Patricia A. Ferren of Milton & the late John Ferren and the late Jane McLaughlin. She also leaves nephews and nieces. Funeral Mass Friday at 6 p.m. in Notre Dame du Lac Chapel, 555 Plantation St., Worcester. Burial Saturday at 11 a.m. in Milton Cemetery, Milton. Calling hours at the Chapel Friday 3 to 5:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Notre Dame Retirement Fund, 340 Plantation St., Worcester, MA 01604.
