Arlene D. Allard, 87, of Stafford Springs, CT, wife of the late Louis A. Allard, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Rockville General Hospital. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Burton A. and Margaret (Tietz) Davis. Arlene retired as a bank manager from the former CBT bank in Stafford. She was a long standing member of the Stafford Universalist Church, and an avid fan of the UConn Women’s Basketball team. Arlene is survived by her two children, Kathleen Allard and her husband Phillip Caron, and Gary Allard and his wife Shirley; six grandchildren, Tyler Campell and his companion Tara Carpenter, Kelsey Lofgren and her husband Daniel, Kristin Allard Canko and her husband Robert, Robert Allard and his companion Danielle Pfanstiehl, Jennifer Kane and her husband Kevin, and Rachel Espinoza and her husband Gibran; a great granddaughter, Fiona Kane; sister, Alberta Groth; sister-in-law, Carol Davis; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Vera Mitchell; and brother, Burton Davis. Her funeral service will be held on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Sunday from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
