Gary W. Bryant, 62, of Bear, DE, passed away suddenly on Friday, November 18, 2016.
Gary enjoyed life and was loved by many. Gary was always generous with his open heart and was a great friend to everyone he knew. He was an avid Blue Hens fan and was a season ticket holder and tailgated for many years with his sons.
He was a 1973 graduate of Delcastle High School. He was proud to work at RC Fabricators for 28 years as a field supervisor and they were part of his family.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Martina Bryant, father-in-law, Henry P. Dalecki and 11 siblings. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 41 years, Kathy (Dalecki) Bryant; his children, Gregg and his wife, Kelley, and Kevin and his wife, Jenny; his much loved grandchildren, Lindsey, Sydney and Logan; his siblings, Doris Lombardi (Anthony) who raised Gary as their own, Joyce Hopkins, Gail Colna (Dennis), Walter Bryant (Pam), Wayne Bryant (Nancy) and Robert Bryant; his mother-in-law, Jean Dalecki; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may visit on Sunday, November 27 from 2 to 4 PM and on Monday, November 28 from 10 to 11 AM at Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Rd., Wilmington, DE 19808. A Celebration of Gary's Life will be held on Monday, November 28 at 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, 185 Salem Church Rd., Newark, DE 19713.
