John Garvey Elledge, a Thatcher resident, entered into eternal life early Monday morning, May 30, 2016, at his residence, with his loving wife, Dorothy, and their family at his bedside. He was 87.
John leaves to mourn: his wife, Dorothy; two daughters, Becky Kerber (Curb) and Vicki Carter (Bart), of Thatcher; his son, Alan Bruce Elledge, of Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
John was predeceased by: a daughter, Teresa Lynn Elledge.
Funeral services for John were conducted Friday afternoon, June 3, 2016, at 4 p.m., at the Pima LDS Stake Center by Bishop Wayne Griffin, of the Thatcher Sixth Ward. Concluding services, with military honors conferred by the Gila Valley Veterans Honor Guard, followed in the Pima Cemetery.
