Mr. William “Woody” Bollinger, 65 of Bonifay, died on Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama. Born Saturday, January 20, 1951 in Altoona, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Edward Bollinger and Doris Workman Bollinger. He was a member of East Mt. Zion Methodist Church and served in the United States Navy. He is survived by his wife, Carmela King Bollinger, mother, Doris Bollinger of Niles, Ohio, sons, Bryan Bollinger of Niles, Ohio, Luke Bollinger of Lakeland, FL, Adam Bollinger of Lakeland, FL and Michael Bollinger of Lakeland, FL, brother, Eddie Bollinger of Mineral Ridge, OH, sister, Cheryl Bollinger of Niles, OH. A funeral service was held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 27, at East Mt. Zion Methodist Church with the Rev. Charlie Newman officiating. Interment was in East Mt. Zion Cemetery, Bonifay, with Sims Funeral Home directing. The family received friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 27, at East Mt. Zion Methodist Church, Bonifay, Florida.
