Breckinridge Herald News. Calvin Basham 1929-2015. Calvin Basham, age 85, formerly of Irvington, passed Sunday, April 12 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green. Mr Basham was born April 17,1929 to the late Allen and Polly Anne Tucker Basham.
Calvin was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Irvington, and a Truck driver for L.H.Frymire's Gulf Station, Allen Hicks Midway Petroleum, and Shacklette Oil.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Duke.
Mr Basham is survived by his wife of 65 years, Martha Carman Basham; and a daughter Jo Ann (Steve) Thompson. Two grandchildren, Ryan (Mary) Thompson, and Angela (David) Jordan, four great grandchildren: Ashlea Ellsbury, Lori Thompson, Makenzie Thompson, and Zachary Jordan; 3 nieces and 3 nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday April 15 at 1pm EDT at Alexander Funeral home in Irvington, Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy in the form of donations may be given to the Hospice House of Souther Ky, 5972 Scottsville Rd. Bowling Green, Ky 42104.
