Brenda Marshall Forrest, 53, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 22, 2016. Brenda was a Registered Nurse and retired from Riverside Walter Reed Hospital after a rewarding career. She was very dedicated to her patients and enjoyed helping other people. Brenda was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. She loved her family dearly and will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her father, James W. Marshall; and grandmother, Alice Shifflett.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Forrest; and her son, James K. Forrest.
Funeral service officiated by adopted son and brother, Reverend Ronald A. Williams will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 26, 2016, at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Interment will follow in Pear Tree Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Friday, November 25, 2016, at the funeral home.
In Brenda’s memory contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society, c/o Mrs. G. Edward Mowry, 7274 Joseph Lewis Road, Hayes, VA 23072.
