Randy Lee Parish, age 51, passed away peacefully, surrounded by those who loved him most, at St. John Hospital on July 31, 2010. He was born September 22, 1958 in Kansas City, MO to Ronald and Evelyn Parish who instilled in him the kindness, generosity and love for adventure that inspired all who were blessed enough to know him. On May 1, 1981 he married the love of his life, Mary Finley. Inseparable through thick, think, sickness and health, they raised two daughters to live passionately and expect nothing less than a lifetime of friendship and selfless devotion from the institution of marriage. Randy never hesitated to tell you he loved you, gave of himself if he had it, and treated every minute on earth as a gift. He was a husband and father to inspire generations; he was a man of honor, a fearless leader, a great friend to many, a teacher by nature, a mechanic, a rancher, a hunter, a bicyclist, a craftsman and a master of ceremonies. Above all, he was good. A man after God's own heart. And he will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Parish, and one brother, Ronnie Parrish. He is survived by his wife, Mary; his daughters and their spouses, Piper and John Dunlap, Jenks, OK, and hailey and Peter Kern, Missoula, MT He is also survived by his father, Ronald Parrish and wife, Mary of Cassville, MO, and sister, Karen Watts, Tulsa, OK.
