OBITUARY:
Robert D. Brotherton, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away Friday, August 15, 2008, at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Robert was born July 28, 1956 in Pasco, Washington, and graduated from Pasco High School in 1975.

He married the love of his life Esther on April 15, 1978, and started a family.

Robert "Bobby" was a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters UA Local 598 and he was a Training Instructor for Journeyman and Apprentices for 14 years. He enjoyed being an instructor and teaching apprentices the trade he loved so much. He was very proud to be a member of the Local 598 and enjoyed working with his union brothers and sisters during his 25 years.

Robert was employed at Fluor Hanford as a HAMTC Safety Representative. He took great pride in looking out for the safety of his new friends and co-workers.

Robert loved to BBQ and celebrate the holidays with his family and friends. Robert enjoyed spending time with his only grandson, Dylan, and especially loved to take him RV camping. He also enjoyed riding his Harley with his wife.

He enjoyed the company of his family, friends, neighbors and pets, Jake and Sophie.

Robert was loved by all those who knew him and made many friends throughout his lifetime.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Esther; sons, Frank and Chad; daughter, Angie; grandson, Dylan; brothers, Errol of Pasco, Garry and his wife, Pam, of Scottsdale, AZ; along with numerous nieces and nephews. He will be missed.

A celebration of his life will be, 2:00 p.m. Tuesday August 26th at the Cathedral of Joy, 1153 Gage Blvd, in Richland.
