Margaret Verwey, 79, of 1876 Belmont Dr., died Friday in her home.

She was a lifelong resident of the Mt. Pleasant area, a member of Sacred Heart Church, the altar society, Catholic Daughters of America, American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary and Women of the Moose.

Surviving are her husband, Andrew; three sons, John of Mt. Pleasant, Marinus of Rosebush and Joseph of Chelsea; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothea Fitzpatrick of Sierra Vista, Arizona; three brothers and four sisters.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Sacred Heart Church. Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. today in J. J. Bush Funeral Home.
