Marion A. “Sam” Patterson, 83, of Linda Drive, Coventry, RI, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2016 at Coventry Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Coventry, RI.
She was married to the late Norman E. Patterson, and was the daughter of the late George and Mildred (Layton) Webb.
She was a CNA for various nursing homes and worked in the office at Pawtuxet Valley Urgent Care in Coventry, RI. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of West Warwick.
She is survived by two daughters; Clardia J. Wood and Bonnie L. Robitalle, two stepsons; Mark Patterson and Matthew Patterson, and four grandchildren. She was predeceased by a late grandson.
A funeral home service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Gorton Menard Funeral Home and Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 28 from 3:00 – 6:00 PM. Burial will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, in Exeter, RI.
