Funeral service for Rebecca L. Russell, 69, will be Friday, November 25, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Weeks officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday, November 25, 2016 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Russell died on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at her residence. She was born February 1, 1947, in Morgan County to Woodrow Wilson White and Louise Smith White. Mrs. Russell was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Mark Allen Russell, brothers; Bobby Joe White, Michael White and a sister, Linda Sue Atkins. Mrs. Russell was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church and a 1965 graduate of Priceville High School. She enjoyed her grandkids, cooking, sewing and shopping.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Russell; two sons, Eric S. Russell and Ryan C. Russell (Belinda); one sister, Patricia Maze; two grandchildren, Christopher Russell and Abigail Russell.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Russell, Jimmy Brazelton, Josh Smith, Rusty White, Grant Harbin and Danny Harbin.
