Mrs. Sarah Suddeth

Mrs. Sarah Sudduth died last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lillie Ward, 26 Norwood Street, Monaghan, after an illness of several years. She had been seriously ill for only one week.

Mrs. Sudduth was born and reared in the Highland section of Greenville county, a daughter of the late Robert and Julia Moon. She was in her 78th year. Her husband, Jeptha Sudduth died 47 years ago.
For the last several years, Mrs. Sudduth lived in the Monaghan and Riverside communities.

She is survived by one son, Bud Sudduth, and two daughters, Mrs. W.A. Mosteller and Mrs. Lillie Ward, all of Greenville; one sister Mrs. Furman Ballew of Landrum, Route 1, 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow, the hour to be announced later from Ebenezer- Welcome Baptist church near Highland. The body will be carried to the home of Mrs. Lillie Ward at 11 o'clock this morning to await the hour of the service.

Further announcements concerning funeral arrangements will be made later by R.D. Jones and Sons, morticians.
