Nettie Mae Worley Moore, 87, went home to be with Our Lord on Nov 21 2016. She passed at home with family after a long illness in Gloucester County VA.
Born Dec. 10, 1928, Asheville NC to Ira and Annie Worley, she also lived in Hampton VA and Boston MA. She was a Christian woman of strong morals and family values who always placed others' needs above her own.
She worked /retired from Miller & Rhoads Inc and was a member of the former Parkview Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her son James Stephen Moore, daughter Ann Kishlicky & her husband Jim, grandson SGT Brian Dale Paulino and his wife Samantha, granddaughter Katrina Rena' Kilmartin, great-grandchildren-Torrance, Kailei, Alexander and Reagan, 2 sisters- Mary "Lib" Hyde of Canton and Catherine Messer along with numerous nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Arthur D Moore Jr., son Micheal Dale Moore(75093351), 5 brothers, Elbert Worley, John Worley, Weaver Worley, Charles "Buck" Worley, Gordon Worley(78640504) and 3 sisters, Cumy Robinson(78617343) , Nellie Blaylock and Edna Kate Pope.
Cremation will be at Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory and burial to follow in the Spring at Crawford-Ray Cemetery, Canton NC, with Jerry Worley officiating.
