Bobby Dean Whiteside, age 63 of Sand Springs, formerly of Drumright passed away Saturday morning, December 30, 2006 in Sand Springs.

Mr. Whiteside was born on March 6, 1943 in Palo Alto, California the son of Fay and Ollie (Devore) Whiteside. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a truck driver and lived in Drumright before moving to Sand Springs.

Bobby is survived by a daughter, Gloria Chalmers; two sons, Floyd Whiteside of Sand Springs and Tommy James Whiteside of Slagel, Okla.; three sisters, Maris Davis of Tulsa, Vinita Hathcock of Sapulpa and Ivon Brown of Wichita, Kansas and one granddaughter Myah.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and six brothers.

Funeral Services will be held at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma at 1 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2007, arrangements are under the direction of the Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service of Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
