Dennis E. Hurley Jr., 48, of Carlisle, PA passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2016 in the Carlisle Regional Medical Center. He was born August 6, 1968 in Carlisle, PA to Dennis Sr. and Donna Myers Hurley. Dennis was the widower of Joanne Conrad Hurley.

Dennis attended the Grace Baptist Christian School and graduated from Carlisle High School. He was a carpenter with the Harrisburg Carpenters Union. Dennis loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents Dennis is survived by his step mother, Dorothy Hurley, a brother, Christopher Hurley, and step brothers, Robin Myers and Jeffrey Myers, and step sister, Tracie Vohs and maternal grandmother, Dorothy R. Myers all of Carlisle; paternal grandfather, John E. Hurley of FL. Also surviving are Aunt Kay Herrin; and Uncles, Dale Myers and Wayne E. Myers both of Carlisle; In addition a step great grandmother, Helen Myers of Loysville, PA, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Grace Baptist Church, 777 West North Street, Carlisle, PA 17013 with the Rev. Charles Fitzpatrick officiating. A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 26 at 10:00 AM, until the time of the service at the church. Burial will be in the Opossum Hill Cemetery, Newville, PA.
