Lawrence Dale Welsh, a former East Wenatchee, WA, resident passed away on
November 16, 2016. Dale was born in Vernon, TX, on March 20, 1931. He
graduated from Vernon High School, completed his bachelors, masters and
doctoral work and served in the U.S. Army.

Dale married Cyndy on July 22, 1977. He enjoyed traveling and meeting people
of different cultures. He shared his love of music as a vocal teacher in Texas
and Washington. His passion for working outdoors led him to becoming an
orchardist in Washington State.

He is survived by his wife, Cyndy; children: Terry, Tim, Tommy, Ted, Daren and
Sudiya Welsh; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded
in death by his son, Damen Welsh.

Interment will be held at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in East Wenatchee, WA,
at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2016. In lieu of flowers, donations may
be made to Paragould Children’s Home, Paragould, AR,
