RIVERVIEW, Fla. — Carl Robert Beaver, 47, of Riverview, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2006, as a result of a motorcycle accident.
Carl was born April 1, 1959, a son of Robert and Phyllis Beaver of Tallahassee, Fla. He was married to Robinn (Crawford) Beaver, who survives.
He was a 1977 graduate of Warrior Run High School, Turbotville, Pa., and a 2002 graduate of Texas A&M University with a doctorate in wildlife and fisheries sciences.
Carl was the project manager for the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary at the time of his death.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Biddinger of Northumberland, Pa.; one sister, Terry Greiner of New Columbia, Pa.; and two brothers, Thomas of Turbotville and Michael of Gulfport, Miss.
A celebration of Carl's life will be held at 1 p.m. Jan. 21, 2007, at Special Occasions, 132 S. Second St., Sunbury, Pa. All are invited to bring their memories of Carl to share.
A scholarship for coral reef studies has been started in Carl's memory. Contributions may be sent to the Carl Beaver Memorial Fund, c/o John W. Tunnell Jr., Texas A&M University-Corpus Christie, 6300 Ocean HRI318C, Corpus Christie, TX 78412.
