Eunice's ancestry on both sides could be traced to the 17th century in this country, with many Revolutionary War Veterans and Civil War Veterans. She grew up in a broken home and spent part of her childhood in foster care. At 18 she moved to Chicago to study nursing. There, she met her husband, Silvio. They had six children, three girls and three boys, one of whom died six hours after his birth. She was a very artistic person, who loved working with her hands, knitting, sewing, embroidery. She made doll houses, painted and played the piano. She was a homemaker until the youngest was almost grown and she became an Avon representative. When the youngest child was in high school, she did office work. She died in her sleep from a stroke.
