FOSTER D. MYERS -- OIL CITY - Funeral services were held Monday for Foster D. Myers of Cleveland, Ohio, from the Joseph Szabat Funeral Home, Rev. O.S. Womer officiated and interment was in the Salem Cemetery, Clarion County. Mr. Myers died Thursday morning, Sept. 22, 1966, in the Cleveland Hospital. Born in Clarion County, March 16, 1898, he was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Myers. He was married to the former Margaret Rearigh, who survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived, John S. of Oil City and William D. of Cleveland; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Deeter, Mrs. Wade (Roasamond) Spangler and Miss Gladys Myers of Cleveland; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother Allen Myers of New Bethlehem, and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Beers of Mayport, Mrs. Gladys Miller of Frogtown, and Mrs. Myrtle Glinkerman of Clarion. Foster Dewey Myers, 68, of 1765 Lockwood Ave., Cleveland Ohio, died Thursday morning in the Cleveland Hospital, according to word received here. Mr. Myers was born March 16, 1898, in Clarion County, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Myers. He is survived by his widow, the former Margaret Rearigh; two sons, John S. Myers of Oil City and William D. Myers of Cleveland; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Deeter, Mrs. Wade (Rosamond) Spangler and Miss Gladys Myers of Cleveland; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a brother, Allen Myers of New Bethlehem, and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Beers of Mayport, Mrs. Gladys Miller of Frogtown and Mrs. Myrtle Glinkerman of Clarion. Friends may call anytime after 2 p.m. today at the Joseph Szabat Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday. Rev. O.A. Womer, pastor of the Calvary Evangelical United Brethren Church, will officiate. Interment will be in the Salem Cemetery, Clarion County. Pallbearers were Adrian Rearigh of Oil City, Donald Glinkerman of Summerville, Walter Miller of Frogtown, Dean Clothier of Cleveland, Ray Fultz of Franklin and Clair Vogel of Sligo. Attending the services from a distance were Mrs. Margaret Myers, Rose Spangler, Mrs. William O'Brien, Gladys Myers, Mr. and Mrs. William Myers and Mrs. Betty Deeter, all of Cleveland; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rearigh, Mr. and Mrs. Miles Rearigh and family and Viola, Diane and Darla Rearigh, all of Brookville, Mr. and Mrs. George Ferment and Pauline Beer of Punxsutawney. Relatives and friends from Mayport, Sligo, the Salem area, Fairmount City and New Bethlehem also were present at the funeral services.
