Thelma Babb, 85 of Easley, widow of Wilbur Holcombe and Claude Babb, went to her Heavenly home November 21, 2016.
Born in Greenville, March 28, 1931, she was the daughter of the late W. Frank Durham and Laura Porter Durham.
Thelma was a member of City View First Baptist Church. She loved her church family and friends and was a witness to others until the last day of her life. Thelma wanted others to know where she was going and to make sure they were going also.
She is survived by three children, Kathy Johnson (Bill), Tommy Holcombe (Debbie), and Beth Houck (Tommy); five grandchildren, Rickey Duncan, Jr., Kelli Harvey, Keri Finley, Kayla Crone, and Chelsea Houck; five great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren who were blessed in life to have such a Godly role model. Her greatest desire is that all her family members someday join her in Heaven.
In addition to her husbands she is preceded in death by one son, David Allen Holcombe.
Burial: Greenville Memorial Gardens.
