"The death of Mrs. Alvin Shaul occurred Thursday evening, June 25th, at her home on Elm street, Richfield Springs. Mrs. Shaul has been a partial invalid for the past six years but her death came unexpectedly at the last. She leaves beside her husband, four sons, Ralph, Harry, Louis and Elmer, also several grandchildren. Her funeral was held from her late residence Sunday afternoon, Rev. Leslie Evans of the First Presbyterian church officiating. Mrs. Shaul was a woman who was loved and respected by all who were privileged to know her. To the family is extended the sympathy of the whole village. It can truly be said of her, 'Her children shall rise up and call her blessed.'---Richfield Springs Correspondent."
