Samuel Dewey Henry was born June 10, 1934, and the son of the late Samuel and Izola (Frye) Henry of Selmer, Tennessee.

Samuel was also preceded in death by three brothers; Lloyd, Edward, and Ray Henry, a son; Samuel Henry, a step-daughter; Sandra Russ, and a step-son; James Glasgow.

He is survived by his wife Velma R. (Moore) Henry of Manchester, Tennessee, three children; Alesia Pennington, of Manchester, Tennessee, Leighann Gentry Bryan, of Florida, Maybrice Henry, of Indiana, a sister, Nora Sharpe (Bill), of Jackson, Tennessee, and Jack and Barbara Moore (Brother-in-law & Sister-in-law).

Samuel enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, reading, and working puzzles. He worked and retired as an electrical operator at AEDC.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be
made to Alzeimer's Foundation.

VISITATION: Wednesday, November 23, 11 - 1:00 P.M. at the Central Funeral Home, 2812 Hillsboro Highway, Manchester, Tennessee

FUNERAL: Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016, 1:00 P.M. at Central Funeral Home

ENTOMBMENT: Rose Hill Memorial Gardens Mausoleum
