Obituary for Alice (Brookes) Hargreaves
The death of Mrs. Samuel Hargraves, took place at her residence (Seldom Seen), Friday, July 30th. She was a native of England, but had been in East Liverpool about seven years. Her funeral took place on Sunday afternoon from the M.P. Temple, (of which church she was a member.) Her loss is deeply felt, and mourned by all who knew her.
NOTE: Her gravestone has the wrong day of death engraved on it. It reads July 29, 1880. She actually died on the 30th.
