Virginia "Ginger" Carpenter joined her beloved husband, David and her eldest son in glory on November 21, 2016. Ginger was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She loved to go to all the various sporting events in which her sons participated. She was an ardent Cubs and Peyton Manning fan. Ginger loved a life of servant hood to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She is survived by her six sons, Paul (Lisa), Scott (Janelle), Denny (Sherry), Don (Carol), Ron (Barb), and Mike (Diane) Carpenter; grandchildren: Kristi, Kim, Haley, Kara Dee, Ginia, Kaylah, Traci, Trevor, Emily, Erin, and Josh; twelve great-grandchildren; sister, Donna and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Don and Dot Lawrence, her husband David, and her eldest son who was stillborn. We look forward to reuniting with her one day in glory. Service is 10 am, Saturday, November 26, 2016 at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Rd, with calling one hour prior. Calling will be at the funeral Home Friday, November 25, 2016 from 2 pm to 6 pm. Burial in Huntertown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Golden Years Homestead Garman Employee Benevolent Fund or Christ's Hope Ministries and Church where Ginger has been a partner for 16 years.
