Cynthia A. Mann, 66 of 512 Harney Dr., Piqua, died on Monday, September 27, 2004 at 7:20 am in her residence. She was born in Troy on May 17, 1938 to the late John R. and Mary J. Hollingsworth Clark. She married Edward L. Mann on May 10, 1958 in Covington; and he survives.

Other survivors include a son, Edward L. Mann, Jr. of Piqua; two daughters and a son-in-law, Pamela A. and Donald E. Palmer, and Diane Miller all of Piqua; four grandchildren, Nicholas E. Shannon, Christopher A. Shannon, Gary A. Miller, II, Andrew M. B. Miller; and a sister and brother-in-law, Mary Alice and Robert Burns of Dayton. She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph W. Clark, and a grandson, Richard S. Shannon.

Mrs. Mann was a 1957 graduate of Newton High School and a homemaker. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Church Women United, Stillwater Leisure Club, Ohio Volksmarch Association, Piqua Lions Club, and was a Pickawillany Walker.


A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, September 30, 2004 at 10:00 am in the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Rev. Roger L. Toon officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5:00-8:00 pm in the funeral home where a Lions Club service will be conducted at 7:30 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County, Inc., P. O. Box 502 Troy, OH 45373.
