MAGGIE WILLIAMS BASS
Mrs. Maggie Bass, nee Williams, of Ulman, entered into rest February 16th, 1916 at 9 a. m.
She was born October 8, 1859, and was married to Isaac Bass Aug.31, 1875. To this union four children were born: Mrs. Myrtle Farmer of
Hickory Hill, Frank and Clyde Bass of near Ulman and Charles Bass of Ulman in whose home she died on the morning of February 16, 1916 of angina postoria which struck her while she was combing
her hair; she lived only a few seconds.
When Dr. Dickson reached the home she had passed to the Great Beyond.
Mrs. Bass has gone to the better World to meet her husband who died December 18, 1911. Mrs. Bass was laid to rest by the side of her husband at Hickory Point on February 18th, 1916.
Mrs. Bass joined the Christian church many years ago; then joined the Baptist church with her husband in 1908.
The funeral services were held at the Baptist church by Rev. W. C. Self. Mrs. Bass was well known in this community, having lived here all her life. She was a good Christian woman and lived a
Christian life. She will be greatly missed by the people of Ulman and community.

Yes, with tearful eyes did say,
Lord, we love her, let her stay,
In love she lived, in faith she died;
Her life was asked but God denied."
