Our loving mom, Marjorie Ellen Halligan, passed away on November 18, 2016.

She was born July 25, 1940 in Fillmore to Bert Franklin Johnson and Violet (Pearl) Street and was raised in Scipio.

Mom was an amazing mom, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend. She had a huge heart and an incredible spirit and would do anything she could for anyone.

She loved her family with a passion, her house and yard and especially reading and coloring. But nothing was more important than the time she spent with her family.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she has served in various callings.

She was loved by everyone that knew her and will be greatly missed but forever in our hearts. Love you, Mom, rest in peace until we see you again!

She is survived by her children, Debbie (Gene) Vought, Kearns; and Mike (Kristi) Lott, Marysvale; siblings, Donna Cox, Virgin; and Shirley (Gary) Thayer, Gunnison; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, LaRue; brother, Jim; eternal partner, Bill Lott; and nieces, Jill and Sherry.

The family wishes to express thanks to the ER team at Jordan Valley Hospital and IMC ICU team for the loving care they gave her.

Funeral services for Marge will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 28, 2016 in the Westwood Heights Second Ward Chapel, 3976 West Dimrall Drive, Taylorsville. A viewing will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West), Taylorsville. Also, there will be a viewing held one hour prior to the services at the church on Monday.
