Robert William Lammer, 68, died Jan. 1, 2007, at Martin Memorial Medical Center, Stuart. He was born in Chicago and lived in Stuart for 13 years, coming from Inverness and Pomfret, MD.

Before retirement, he was a site manager for The Washington Group, a nuclear energy company, since 2002.

He served in the Navy.

He was a member of the Steam Fitters Union Local 602 in Washington, D.C. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Stuart.

Survivors include his wife, Rhoda Lammer of Stuart; daughter, Lauren Neely of Palm City; sons, Gregory Michael Lammer of Wildwood and Douglas Brian Lammer of Westchester, PA; sisters, Karen Overly of Port St. Lucie and Carole Blum of Cypress, CA; brother, James Lammer of Winter Haven; and seven grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Foundation, 1201 SE Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997.

SERVICES: A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Jan. 6 at Redeemer Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dave Albers officiating.

Arrangements are by Aycock Funeral Home, Stuart.
