Courtney E. Davis passed away on December 29, 2006 at St. Mary's of Michigan Medical Center. He was born January 19, 1990 in Saginaw, MI. He attended Truth Love Temple Church where he played the drums under the leadership of Dr. F. B. Minor. Courtney was a student at Saginaw High School and he enjoyed playing basketball.

Courtney leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Harry (Gloria) Brooks; birth mother, Toni Elmora; three sisters, Crystal Johnson, Kentria Pittman and Tamika (Dion) Evans all of Saginaw; 11 brothers, Demertis Johnson, Dennis and Reggie West, Terrance (Ella) Young, Clearance Young, Jackie Renfro, Leslie and Lester Bennette and Frank Parcham, all of Saginaw, Howard Foster of Grand Rapids, MI and Minor (Amber) Pittman of Hawaii.

He also leaves his stepmother, Patricia Tarpley; one grandmother, Tallulah Elmore of Saginaw; one great-grandmother, Bertha Hankin of Saginaw; five aunts, Esterleen Harry, Vernice Davis, Jacinta Jones, Haddie Steele and Davida General, all of Saginaw; three uncles, Simmie Elmore of Belmond, Iowa, Allen (Dorothy) Foster of Chicago, IL and Mr. and Mrs. Scott of Grand Rapids, MI; two great-uncles, Robert (Kathy) Foster of Benton Harbor, MI, Monora Davis of Sexton, MO; and many, many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Davis; grandmother, Helen Miller; great-grandmother, Evelyn Quince; grandfather, James Banks and a very special cousin, Brittney Harry.
He died from gun shot wounds.
