Rose Marie Martwick, 95, of Duluth, died very peacefully on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007 at St. Mary's Medical Center. Rose was born Sept. 13, 1911 in Duluth to Elizabeth (Schmidt) and William Hess. She was preceded in death by her only child, daughter Lorraine Marie; her father and mother. Rose is survived by many good friends, cousins, and two good friends; her god-daughters, Joyce Klick of Superior, Wisc., and Janice Kilgore of Moose Lake, Minn. VISITATION:9 a.m. Friday from until the 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Scholastica Priory would be appreciated. Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home, 727-3555.
