Shawn Michael Lang, 37, of Madison Lake, died Sunday, July 19, 2015 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am on Friday, July 24 at All Saints Catholic Church in Madison Lake with Fr Robert Schneider, officiating. Interment will be at Woodland Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4-7 Thursday at the church. Woodland Hills Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Shawn was born September 12, 1977 in Mankato to Michael and Sandra (Engelking) Lang. When he wasn’t working construction, he liked four wheeling, dirt track racing, hunting and fishing, farming, occasional trips to the casino, working with the Porter family in the pit at Arlington Raceway, and especially loved raising animals on the farm and spending time with his yellow lab, Sierra.

He is survived by his mother, Sandra Longseth of Rochester, MN; brothers, Andrew Lang of Mankato, Scott (Lorraine) Burgess of Mankato; sisters, Lori Bunde of Sartell, Lisa (Frank) Hirschfeld of Gales Ferry, CT; nieces and nephews, Katelyn and Kylie Bunde, Jacob Hirschfeld, Cody, Scotty and Tiffany Burgess.

He was preceded in death by his father, Michael; son, Michael; brother, Adam; and grandparents, Wilbur & Marcella Lang and Mary Wilson.
