William Cecil Weeks
MOULTRIE — William Cecil Weeks, 91, of Moultrie died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007 at Woodlands Living Center in Moultrie.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 6 at Midway Free Will Baptist Church with the Revs. Randy Jackson and Donnie Sloan officiating.

Burial will follow in Midway Cemetery with Masonic Rites.

His grandsons, Keith Weeks, Chad Watson, Marty Wills, Jeff Weeks, Jimmy Weeks, Patrick Weeks, Chris Weeks and Craig Weeks will serve as pallbearers.

Born Feb. 15, 1915 in Colquitt County, he was the son of the late Emma Greer Weeks and David Bartley Weeks.

He was a retired truck driver with Swift and Co. and a member of Midway Free Will Baptist Church.

He was also a member of Moultrie Masonic Lodge and was a Shriner.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nora Sloan Weeks; a brother, Marvin Weeks; and a sister, Vera Griffin.

Survivors include three sons, Charles Weeks and wife Betty of Greensboro, Ga., Cecil Weeks and wife Joy of Papillion, Neb. and Randall Weeks and wife Marie of Moultrie; two daughters, Frances Wills of Franklin, Tenn. and June Watson of Moultrie; a brother, Julian Weeks of Valdosta; two sisters, Alice Magruder and husband Marvin of Moultrie and Nona Mae Sloan of Moultrie; 17 grandchildren, Keith Weeks, Kim Weeks, Robin and William Beech, Marty and Christie Wills, Chad and Becky Watson, Patti Watson, Jeannine and Jay Torbert, Chris and Amanda Weeks, Craig Weeks, Jeff and Holly Weeks, Jimmy and Kim Weeks, Patrick and Stacy Weeks, Glenn and Terry Fordham, Keith and Tammy Maness, Michael Brooks, Heaven Weeks and Misty Weeks; 24 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be today, Jan. 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

The family may be contacted at the home of Randall and Marie Weeks, 2695 Highway 33 North, Moultrie.

Cobb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
