Bruce was born in San Francisco, California, the adopted son of Harry and Carol Hudson. He grew up in Mariposa and Santa Cruz graduating from Soquel High School in 1971. He briefly attended Cabrillo College, he married Sondra Johnson, and they had 2 children. They later divorced. Bruce joined the Army at age 26 and served as a helicopter mechanic for 8 years before his honorable military discharge in 1993.
Bruce enjoyed music since he was young. He bought his first guitar with green stamps when he was only 8 years old. Bruce’s favorite occupation was being a grandpa.
Bruce is survived by his parents Bob and Carol Arriola, his adoptive father, Harry Hudson, his two children: Koda R. (Kate) Hudson and Mariya Hudson, two grandchildren, and a brother Arlon Walter Arriola.
A Graveside Service with military honors will be held at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella on November 29th at 1:30 pm.
