Paul Carpenter, 94, of South Charleston died Jan. 21, 1997, in Thomas Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
He was a retired electrician, a native of Wetzel County and attended Fifth Avenue Church of God, South Charleston.
Surviving: wife, Lenora Mathews Carpenter several nieces and nephews.
Service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Good Shepherd Mortuary, South Charleston, with the Rev. Rod Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. Friends may call from 6 to 8:30 p.m. today at the mortuary.
